South London Arts Partnership

South London Arts Partnership is a consortium of 6 local authorities who come together to devise strategic plans to deliver participatory arts activity across South London. 

Time Won't Wait delivered a consultancy brief to work with SLAP to devise and deliver a model of best practice for music participation with young people from a range of backgrounds and experiences. 

Working with 14 organisations ranging from urban music studios to orchestras, choirs, world music bands and opera companies Time Won't Wait facilitated an in depth needs assessment that created a transferable project model for meaningful engagement. SouthSounds is now a project in development, with ambitions for young people to take part in specialist music opportunities and provision with high profile artists not accessible to them otherwise.
