Body Language

Time Won't Wait

Do we know where we stand in relation to the real and the unreal? Life and its hidden streams? The abstract and the concrete? The story and the ritual? The performer and the person? The body and its' language?

Body Language is a creative and personal development programme for young people. A series of dynamic workshops designed to equip participants with new approaches and skills in communication, presentation and performance. At the heart of the programme is a positive framework for peer mentoring, providing time and space for participants to discover their own sense of creativity, building on engaging techniques both in body and in language.

Body Language was piloted with 25 young people from St. Bonaventures Boys School in Newham, London in 2009. This successful model that can be tailor made to suit different environments including schools, colleges, PRU's, YOT's and community settings.

The outcome of this project produced a book that you can preview / buy here.
