Hubbub

A creative participatory project bringing together the children, families and teachers of Gainsborough Primary School in Hackney to explore some of London’s most colourful and exciting environments; the market places.

Artists from different mediums were in residence for a term at the school, cooking up a menu of hubbub indoor and outdoor events, interventions, recipes and workshops culminating in a performance installation from January to March 2009. This was a New Direction Change School Programme.
